United Paws Adoption Event
United Paws Adoptathon
May 4th,
2013
12:00 – 3:00pm
The day was
warm and sunny, but the cats were cool as they put on their cutest poses trying
to find a loving family to adopt them. United Paws arrived with 12 cats all
looking for a home where they can just be part of the family. Four of them
found a forever home, eight will try again next time. The event was well
attended by 17 people looking to just make a little difference in the day of a
homeless feline. The donated
gift basket was also a big hit. It brought in $50 in
proceeds to PAWS!

But wait - there's more! Much, much more!
Give yourself at least 2 hours to enjoy the Garibaldi Maritime Museum. There's a lot to see: Garibaldi history, a boat building display, a Children's Korner, an exquisite historical gun collection (yes, even if you're not a gun person). You owe it to yourself to tour this gem - especially if you're a coastal resident and have never been here. Click on any photo for a larger view.
