In the second half of May....

We host another adoptathon for United Paws. It's not a cat show, it's a love-in! Come in, fall in love with your feline soul mate, take home for purrs, entertainment, and lap warming!

Then lastly, but not leastly, our White Elephant Sale, where you'll find items to spark your curiosity, fill a need (or a want), and help us to fund replacement of our creaky, leaky front doors. (If your front door was opened 400-1000 times a month, it would wear out too!)

United Paws Adoption Event

United Paws Adoptathon
May 4th, 2013
12:00 – 3:00pm

The day was warm and sunny, but the cats were cool as they put on their cutest poses trying to find a loving family to adopt them. United Paws arrived with 12 cats all looking for a home where they can just be part of the family. Four of them found a forever home, eight will try again next time. The event was well attended by 17 people looking to just make a little difference in the day of a homeless feline. The donated gift basket was also a big hit. It brought in $50 in proceeds to PAWS!

May is a busy month for the Museum!

And you're invited to attend everything we have on our schedule!

Our first event in May is an adoptathon for cats and kittens brought to us by United Paws, and who you can meet live and IN PERSON, in our community room on May 4th from 12-3 pm. If you've been thinking your life needs some purr-fecting, here's an opportunity to further that goal! This event is free for those coming to meet the Mews. Click on any image for a larger view.

Then on May 5th, artist Michael Mason will be here for a reception to open his show of gorgeous work he creates with flower petals. You can see more by visiting his website here: wallflower-fineart.com His work will be on view through the month of May.
